I've painted a paper mache cone red and added a cute little snowman, moss, pip berries, greens, cinnamon sticks, pine cones and a grungy little candy cane.  There is also a coffee stained strip of cheesecloth wrapped around the cone with a rusty bell and hang tag that reads "Joy to the World".  This ornie is an adaptation on a pattern by The Olde Country Cupboard.  It measures approximately 13" from the tip of the snowman hat to the base of the cone.  Ready for hanging on your tree or a knob.

Please click on it to see a better, larger image!!)  I've stitched this wonderful Twigs 'n Sprigs design on tea stained osnaburg and added a blue homespun border.  It's framed in a 14 x 18" flea market find frame that I painted black.  "Give me liberty or give me snow" is the wording on this americana style snowman stitchery.

Cora is an 18" tall lady snowman who's body was made with a vintage white blanket.  I've cut up an antique quilt top to make her coat.  She's wearing an apricot color wool scarf cut from a ladies wool jacket.  I've added a vintage pin to her scarf and she's holding three snow babies whose scarves are strips cut from another of my vintage quilt pieces.  She's a one of a kind Aiden Loves Zoe original.

Snowman Oliver is a one of a kind 18" tall snowman.  His body is cut from a vintage blanket and his sweater was once a men's wool sweater that I found in my favorite second hand shop and cut down to fit him.  In his arms is a bundle of greens, cinnamon sticks, tiny pinecones and red berries.  On his stocking cap is a rusty bell.

Snowman Samuel is 18" tall and wearing a brown plaid coat.  I made his coat out of a flannel shirt my husband hasn't worn in years!  His body is made from a recycled white blanket and his scarf was once a ladie's black wool skirt.  He's holding a Christmas tree in his arms that's been decorated with a rusty tin star garland and some red berries. 

I had a contest on my facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/aidenloveszoe) to name this guy.  The winner came up with Jingles, which is very appropriate since this snowman has an armful of ornaments and jingle bells to decorate the Christmas tree with!  His body is made with a vintage white blanket and I cut up a recycled wool sweater to make his outfit.  He's one of a kind and stands about 18" tall.

Ginny the snow lady is another of my signature, one of a kind snowmen made using materials found in second hand shops.  Her wool coat and hat were once a ladies jacket and her body was cut from a vintage white blanket...all soft and time-worn.  In her arms she holds a grungy candle that I've added a battery operated tea light to.  There are some berries and rusted stars too.  She's about 18" tall.

This lady snowman who I've named Tillie stands 18" tall.  Her body is made with a piece of a vintage white blanket.  I've made her bonnet and coat from a second hand shop wool coat.  The buttons and belt are actual pieces of the full size coat.  I've added a vintage flower pin to her hat and in her arms are her three baby snowmen!  She's bundled up with a fleece scarf.

Snowman Humphrey is a very vintage fellow.  His body is made with an old vintage blanket.  His coat was once a pair of wool pants and his hat and scarf were cut from a wool sweater.  Great finds at one of my favorite second hand stores!  Rusty bells, rusty pins, greens, red pip berries, rusty stars and a couple of vintage candy canes add just the right touch to this 18" tall snowman. 

Winter is a 23" tall snowman made of chenille fabric.  In one arm he's got a bundle of greenery, red berries and a candy cane.  In the other arm he holds an electric candle lamp (not a flicker bulb).  Lots of rusty bells for buttons and a wool scarf keep him bundled up for winter.  Cindy Martin was the pattern designer.

This loveable snow couple is snuggling to keep warm.  Mister is about 10" high and his wife stands about 8" high.  He's got a scarf made of plaid homespun.  Her shawl is wool.  A great gift for a new couple or for an anniversary!

This cute little snowman stands approximately 5" tall.  His homespun scarf is blue and white check.  He's holding a sign that says "I Love Snowdays".  This would be a great gift for your favorite teacher.  The pattern was designed by Jamie Jerome.
