I found a great use for this old 30" x 13" three paned window. I painted it black (green was the original color)...notice the old putty still squeezed between the panes. The two primitive sheep and pineapple are wool applique pieces that I've hand stitched to tea stained osnaburg. It's ready to hang in your country home! Please e-mail for oversize shipping charges on this one.
I've hand stitched this pineapple wool applique onto a piece of tea stained osnaburg. It is framed in a 7 x 9" distressed black frame. The pineapple is a country symbol for "welcome".
I found these great 8" wood hoops at the Brimfield Antiques Flea Market. They were a light green color until I painted them black. I've framed three different designs of wool applique in them. A prim 1776 Flag, a saltbox and willow tree and a sheep and willow tree. Please choose your style below.
This is a wool felt applique of a sheep that I hand stitched onto a piece tea stained warm & natural cotton batting. Around his neck he's got a strip of aged cheesecloth with a rusty bell and tag that reads "USA". The frame is a flea market find that I painted black. It measures 14 3/4 x 18 3/4".
I've hand stitched a big primitive willow tree, two sheep and "Simplify" onto a piece of tea stained warm and natural cotton batting. I've taken actual sheep's wool and stitched it onto the bodies of the sheep. It's framed in a vintage 16 x 20" frame that I painted black.
I've hand stitched pieces of wool onto tea stained osnaburg to make this americana flag. I found the stars in my scrapbooking supplies and thought they added a nice patriotic touch. The piece is framed in a 22 1/2 x 9 1/2" repurposed frame that I found at a yard sale and painted black.
These little teddy bears are about 6" tall and 5" wide. I've dug into my bag of scrap wool and made a bunch of these little guys. The wool came from some men's sports jackets that I used in another project. They've got peppercorns for eyes and a rusty heart. These are not intended for use as a child's toy.
I've made these felted wool heart ornies out of some old wool coats that I found at a great vintage clothing shop. They are lightly stuffed and I've hand sewn some vintage white buttons on them. The heart measures about 5" x 5" without the ribbon for hanging. Please choose your color below.
I searched through my stash of old wool sweaters for the great patterns found on these felted wool ornies. I've added some tiny pinecones, a bit of greenery and a couple of rusty bells to each. A dusting of German glitter glass gives them a great vintage look. Choose your color below.
This prim snowman pin has three vintage buttons handsewn to a 2" x 2 1/2" piece of blue wool fabric. Embroidered snowflakes and seed bead accents give this pin it's nice country look. Wear him on your favorite winter coat!
Clarence is an Aiden Loves Zoe original prim snowman who stands about 9" tall and 7" wide. I've made his wool coat from actual old coats I found at my local thrift shop. He's got vintage buttons, a rusty bell pinned to his wool scarf, cinnamon stick arms and a bundle of twigs for hair. His hand stitched carrot nose and vintage button eyes give him that great prim look. Please choose your color below.
I've created these adorable wool mittens from wool sports jackets found at my local thrift shop. They measure 10" including the rusty wire hanger. Tucked in each mitten is an assortment of greens, cinnamon sticks and prim candy canes. I've pinned a rusty bell to the front. Please choose your color below.
