I've hand stitched this pineapple wool applique onto a piece of tea stained osnaburg.  It is framed in a 7 x 9" distressed black frame.  The pineapple is a country symbol for "welcome".

This is a wool felt applique of a sheep that I hand stitched onto a piece tea stained warm & natural cotton batting.  Around his neck he's got a strip of aged cheesecloth with a rusty bell and tag that reads "USA".  The frame is a flea market find that I painted black.  It measures 14 3/4 x 18 3/4".

I've hand stitched a big primitive willow tree, two sheep and "Simplify" onto a piece of tea stained warm and natural cotton batting.  I've taken actual sheep's wool and stitched it onto the bodies of the sheep.  It's framed in a vintage 16 x 20" frame that I painted black.

Please click on it to see a better, larger image!!)  I've stitched this wonderful Twigs 'n Sprigs design on tea stained osnaburg and added a blue homespun border.  It's framed in a 14 x 18" flea market find frame that I painted black.  "Give me liberty or give me snow" is the wording on this americana style snowman stitchery.

I've stitched this cheerful spring flower garden on tea stained osnaburg.  I've used vintage buttons and scraps of wool for some of the flowers.  The beehive and birdhouse are wool accents also.  The border is a strip of brown homespun.  It's framed in a 26 x 13" black frame that was a flea market find.

This prim snowman pin has three vintage buttons handsewn to a 2" x 2 1/2" piece of blue wool fabric.  Embroidered snowflakes and seed bead accents give this pin it's nice country look.  Wear him on your favorite winter coat!
